Sean Lind Rocks the WPT Raw Deal Audition
I just finished my audition with the executive producer of the world poker tour, Joe Grimm. For those of you rooting for me, the audition went well. I didn’t fuck up or start crying; instead stood my ground and spat my poker related jargon into a Guitar Hero usb Mic.
For those of you rooting for someone else… well go fuck yourself.
Even though my audition went well, and I’m more than happy with my performance, I’m up against some pretty steep competition. One name that really sticks out is none other than Joe Sebok:
I know what you’re thinking: “Sean, how can you stand a chance against that?”
While I understand that bear suit always beats no bear suit, I’m confident I have a decent shot. I mean, after all, Joe’s dad is Barry Greenstein, and he already has his own radio show: Poker Road Radio. One person doesn’t need all the luck in the world, I figure I’m due.
Anyways, that’s my update. I was told I would find out either way by Friday, so I’ll be sure to let all of you (by all of you I mean my mom and the two other people who read this blog) how it went.
Update
In case you’re wondering, I didn’t get the gig. I’m not sure who did yet, I just know it wasn’t me. But the good news is I did get a set of WPT branded KEM cards. So really, all turned out well in the end.
